Parking on the road outside the school we headed up the road turning right into Back lane which turns into a rough track climbing the Cown edge way around the top edge of Coombes Rocks, we ate or lunch on the southern corner of the rocks, terrific views! then dropped down turning right (north east) along a path past the lakes of which one was used in The Village tv series known as Joe’s pond. Left around the farm where an absolutely crazy barking dog contained behind the fence followed us around the perimeter. Northwest and back into Charlesworth.
