5. Cressbrook Dale 2nd March
We parked up in Litton, it was a fresh sunny day full of promise and
expectation. I was on a promise but expected to be too tired and too
full of ale after this walk. St Peters Stone jutted out from the
landscape. Ahead was the Three Stags Inn renowned for its strong ale if
you can pick a day when it's open.’ A pint of Black Lercher please and
a cup o char f mrs’… ‘ I wouldn’t recommend driving anywhere after this
if I were you mate!’... lucky for me..Julie loves driving! North
westerley out of the pub, up the road a bit crossing over and taking a
path across the fields to Litton. Short but nice little walk.
